About

The two Masters sisters, Justine and Juliet, are no strangers to the uptown community, as longtime Harlem residents and current operators of The Edge Harlem. Their popular neighborhood eatery has earned them a loyal following and an excellent reputation in the industry.

Lesly Bernard, is responsible for downtown iconic venues like Tillmans and Clementine. The hospitality veteran brings his design expertise and innovative ideas to the table. Lesly conceptualized, designed and built The Good Good, ensuring a unique and inviting atmosphere filled with rich warm tones, textures and layers of surprise.

The Good Good’s creative “bistro” menu is inspired by the trio’s shared international and Caribbean heritage and features modern takes on comforting dishes of their childhood Sunday dinners. To help execute their vision, the trio kept it a “family affair” and enlisted young talent, Denzell Washington. Chef Denzell actually worked with the sisters eight years prior as a line cook at The Edge Harlem and now has come full circle to helm the kitchen at The Good Good.

The Good Good also offers an extensive selection of premium spirits and a well-curated old world wine list.

The team hopes this warm and comfy extension of their living room will become a beloved neighborhood spot and a destination for all New Yorkers.

The Good Good encapsulates the collaborative spirit of three long-time friends who share a passion for creating memorable NYC venues - Lesly Bernard, Juliet Masters and Justine Masters.
